INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE
MASTER OF CEREMONIES
My name is Lodewijk van Noort and I live in Italy.
It is my great honor to host the PLAIN 2023 conference in Buenos Aires. I look forward to meeting you all and diving into the world of plain language together. We look forward to hearing from top speakers from around the world. And we are guests of one of the most interesting organizations in Argentina. I can't wait to meet you!
A bit more about myself:
After working in commercial communication, I realized my heart was in communication for a social purpose. I switched firstly to the Dutch Reading & Writing Foundation and to the municipality of The Hague in The Netherlands. I also have my own company in presenting and moderating (online) meetings, webinars and (talk) shows.
In 2017, I received the title of Dutch Ambassador Plain Language for the Government. This resulted in the position of leader of the Dutch Plain Language Campaign (Direct Duidelijk) at the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations in 2018 and 2019. In 2020, I became a finalist in the Dutch Communication Person 2020 election. Since 2021 I'm also a proud board member of Plain Language Association International (PLAIN).

Hola, mi nombre es Bárbara Marcilese y vivo en la Ciudad de Buenos Aires.
Para mí es un placer acompañar a Lodewijk y a Inés en sus funciones de maestros de ceremonias de la conferencia PLAIN 2023 que tiene por sede a nuestra Ciudad de Buenos Aires.
Un poco más sobre mí:
Integro el comité especial de organización PLAIN 2023 por parte del Observatorio de Lenguaje Claro de la UBA.
Soy Lic. en Ciencias Políticas y Abogada egresada de la Universidad de Buenos Aires y actualmente estudiante de teatro.
Trabajo en la Secretaría de Coordinación de Políticas Judiciales del Consejo de la Magistratura de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, recientemente designada autoridad de aplicación de la Ley de Lenguaje Claro en el ámbito del Poder Judicial de la Ciudad (Ley N° 6367). En general, mi desempeño laboral se enfoca en proyectos y acciones vinculados a la comunicación social, fundamentalmente en materia de acceso a la justicia.

Hola, soy Inés Selvood y será un placer, junto a Lodewijk y Bárbara, acompañarlos en esta conferencia.
Un poco sobre mí:
Soy licenciada en Comunicación Social egresada de la Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA) y tengo un Magister en Derechos Humanos por la Universidad Abierta de Catalunya (UOC). Actualmente soy Directora de Justicia Abierta del Consejo de la Magistratura de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, a cargo de JusBairesAbierto: primer portal de gobierno abierto del Poder Judicial de la Ciudad. También coordino desde 2020 la Red Internacional de Justicia Abierta (RIJA) organización de la sociedad civil que reúne a más de 400 personas en torno a la Justicia Abierta.
